Why Selvague

My name is Frédérick. I love to travel — everywhere, always — but cruising holds a special place in my life. I have sailed on the Celebrity Silhouette, Celebrity Beyond, Allure of the Seas, and several other ships, visiting destinations and ports I continue to explore. What I realised along the way is that truly useful information is rarely in the brochures. It lives in the details nobody mentions, in the habits of frequent travellers, in the small decisions that change everything. Selvague was born from that frustration — and from a desire to do something about it.

How I work

For each article, I gather everything that exists on the subject — testimonials, videos, podcasts, forums, specialist reviews — and distil what matters. Information is verified, cross-referenced across multiple sources, and rewritten in the Selvague voice: direct, honest, free of unnecessary superlatives.
